At M\u00fcller\u2019s, the audience is introduced to an old couple whose longing for each other has faded, becoming the basis for a war between them. Her whole purpose in life is to spin images of interaction, sharpening her tongue, her mind and her thoughts to be used like daggers. This becomes her weapon she pushes into the other’s back at the slightest opportunity, smiling at the opponent as he dies. His inability to learn, to forgive and to forget, ultimately, becomes the ammunition that feeds these battles of words. They are then driven mercilessly from their cruelty before them, always on the hunt for the next bon mot, the next battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
