  • Nutcracker and Mouse King

    Christmas time is the time of battle between nutcracker and mouse king. The revival of the ballet in the choreography by Steffen Fuchs will take place on 21.12.2019 in the Great House of the Theater Koblenz at 19:30 hrs. Further performances are scheduled for 26.12.2019 at 16:00 and 28.12.2019 at 19:30. In addition, the production will travel to Staßfurt and will be shown there on 24.01.2020 at 19:30 at the Salzlandtheater. In addition to the performance, there will be an extensive supporting programme with workshops, lecture demonstrations and public ballet training.

  • Revival “Bach-Ballett”

    As a result of the huge positive interest, “Bach-Ballett” will be revived in the Theater Koblenz on 24.01.2019.  Further performances are on 26., 27. and 28.01.2019 and begin in each case at 8 pm.

  • Cooperation with Salzlandtheater Staßfurt

    In the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons, two productions each of the ballet of Theater Koblenz will be presented at Salzlandtheater Staßfurt. To open the cooperation, the company will present the successful ballet “Nutcracker and Mouse King” in the choreography by Steffen Fuchs on 18.01.2019 at 19:30 hrs. On 19.05.2019 “Bach-Ballett” will be performed. The titles and performance dates of the two works, to be performed in the upcoming season, will follow as soon as possible.   • Guest performance in Shenzhen/China

    As part of the dance and music festival in Shenzhen/China, Steffen Fuchs will premiere the choreography “Salve Regina” with music by Arvo Pärt on 7th December 2018. The duet is danced to the theme “The dark night of the soul” by Ami Watanabe and Emmerich Schmollgruber.   • PREMIERE: Nutcracker and Mouse King

    Ballet by Steffen FuchsMusic by Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski Steffen Fuchs choreographs with “Nussknacker und Mausekönig” the opening production of the Koblenz Theatre’s ballet of the 2018/19 season, which premieres on 6 October 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in the Großes Haus. Rehearsals will begin in August 2018. In his choreography, Fuchs will follow Hoffmann’s fairy tale in an entertaining way. There is a reunion with Princess Pirlipat and the nut Krakatuk, the fairy tale in the fairy tale, which is not told in Petipa’s original libretto. But explains how the Nutcracker becomes the Nutcracker.
