Cinderella
This “Cinderella” is a Hollywood style interpretation: In the Chicago of the 1940s, Cindy finds her prince in a millionaire’s son. The production is based on the style of the film noir. In this context, the viewers experience women who, luckily for them, know how to use a gun, and men who don’t believe in man’s inherent goodness anymore. However, as this is a fairy tale, there is an unexpected happy end for everyone – even for the good fairy. The ballet for “Cinderella” is accompanied by the state orchestra Rheinische Philharmonie.
